this is The Ultra Violet — the deep-grape-to-lilac gradient that is the whole Claws x Code identity — built on a JIS layout with Japanese legends. every keycap carries kana next to the roman characters, so the board reads in romaji and 仮名 at the same time. 変換, 無変換, and かな sit exactly where your thumbs expect them. it looks like a Famicom that grew up and went to design school.
made for the people who grew up switching between two keyboards — the one at obaachan's house and the one everywhere else — and never found a board that looked like it belonged to both.
built for long nails
uniform-height keycaps with organically rounded edges — every key sits at the same level, so your tips strike clean from any angle without catching. the chalky, no-slip coating gives acrylics a subtle grip instead of skating off. you can type 100wpm in 1.5-inch stiletto tips on this. that's the entire point of the brand.
